<<Poststructuralism is an important trend of thought which constitutes postmodern perspectives. It offers new kinds of perceptions including as to discourse，power，identity and deconstruction. This paper aims to concretely as well as tentatively analyze and explore the implications of poststructuralist perceptions for social work profession as a whole and for social work practice.
