This report comprehensively summarizes the achievements of social development in Guizhou in 2013：while central support are increased，policy effects have been released together；economy keeps a relatively rapid growth，and the comprehensive strength rises steadily；With the comprehensive practice of improving livelihood，people’s living standards has been increasingly enhanced；the economic society maintains a steady development. And it also analyzes the problems in the development of society as follow：weak in scientific technology innovation，and heavier pressure on ecology protection and environment governance；the obvious contradiction between urban and rural dual structure，low level of urbanization，populous impoverished people，and poor public services and infrastructure in rural areas；frequent production safety accidents；weak executive of some government departments，and government work needed to be further strengthened. This year is the first year of comprehensive and deepening reform，since our country have paid more attentions to comprehensively deepening reform and releasing bonus，promoting structural adjustment and development mode transformation，and west regions development and the coordinated development of all regions. As the continuous improvement of transportation，education and other infrastructures and public utilities，major platforms have been established；while external factors have accelerated，industry basis has continuously consolidated. All kinds of bonuses such as the reform bonuses，resource bonuses，ecological bonuses，labor bonuses，and policy bonuses are released together with a stronger and stronger power supporting development. Therefore，the social development of Guizhou will be continuously better in 2014.
