This research analyzes Guizhou power investment situation and the development opportunity from Chinese macroscopic background of electric power system reform；it analyzes the effects of electric power system reform on Guizhou industrialization strategy，depending on both the situation and forecast of electricity supply and demand，since the “Twelfth Five-year Plan”；Considering the rapid growth of electricity demand since“Twelfth Five-year Plan” and policy environment of “west-east power transmission”，the gap between energy supply and demand is dynamically compared，at the same time，realistic contradiction of power supply and demand are calculated and evaluated. It also pays attentions to the energy development conditions that influence the industrialization of Guizhou.
