The Specialization of social work development in Anhui Province has made considerable development in recent years. Thanks to the mutual efforts made by the government and society，the social work in Anhui province has made great achievements after continuous attempts and exploration，such as the formation of the “Anhui model” and “Hefei Mode”，which laid a good foundation for the further improvement of professional social work. Specialization of social work development in Anhui Province mainly includes the development of professional social work education and training，the construction of professional social work organizations and social service agencies，and the construction of social work policy and regulation system. Over the years，the national and provincial pilot unit construction has been carried out actively in Anhui Province，as well as the exploration of professional social work among elderly. In the next few years，the development of social work in Anhui Province will focus on specialization，professionalization and localization to further promote innovation.
