As Japan has fragile agriculture，on whether Japan should join the TPP negotiations，people from every part of society have created a fierce controversy. Despite the oppositions constantly，depending on LDP’s victory of Senate election in July 2013，and with the progress of “Abe economics” in his second ruling，Abe government’s attitude to TPP negotiations including agriculture is tougher. However，in order to appease opponents，Abe government will hold negotiating position of asking for a certain degree of agriculture protection，continue to support the existing agricultural supporting policies，and will look forward to making participation in the TPP as a turning point of Japan’s agricultural rebirth.
