Financial development is the short board on economic development in Henan Province，enhance the competitiveness of financial development has an important practical significance.the city’s financial competitiveness evaluation system included herein for the first time to build the financial industry performance，the strength of financial institutions，financial market size，the degree of development of financial markets，including financial development environment，based on Henan Statistical Yearbook （2013） statistics，use of entropy method，financial competitiveness of the city，Henan Province，18 predominantly urban areas were evaluated in order to identify the characteristics of the province’s regional financial development，financial competitiveness gap between the city and its causes，and proposed to enhance competition in the financial city of Henan Province force level policy recommendations to accelerate the development of the province’s financial industry，and continuously improve the ability of financial services with economies in transition in Henan Province.
