Although total ODA has decreased during the last two years，aid to Sub-Saharan Africa from international society has risen at a modest pace. New aid has been largely debt relief and a large proportion of aid still flew to a few African countries. New emerging donor countries have caught more attention as they are playing more and more important roles in the field. China is definitely one of most important players.
