The analysis report presents the main contents in “Survey on Cultural and Creative Industry Competitiveness of 42 Cities across the Taiwan Straits （2013）” compiled by Taiwan-based Asia-Pacific Cultural and Creative Industry Association and “Research on Cultural Industry Comprehensive Competitiveness of China’s Major Cities” released by Renmin University of China. After comparing the similarities and differences of the two competitiveness evaluation systems，it analyses both advantages and disadvantages of Beijing cultural and creative industry. It concludes that Beijing is very strong in overall strength with apparent advantages，but its creative power and professional level of cultural and creative industry have yet to be improved with cultural consumption potential further tapped.
