Changes in relevant measurement and monitoring standards，or heavy metals and toxic，harmful，chemical pollutants that are not covered by these standards and that threaten human health or even life，will draw increasing attention to essential environmental and health issues rather than those described in the Report on the State of the Environment in China. Although policy choices depend on objectives and relevant situations，sustainability is possible only by being oriented toward human beings，not others，and respecting the nature，not conquering or defeating it. The future of human beings will be bright only if civic actions in environmental and ecosystem protection receive evaluation，and citizens，companies and governments work together in this field.
