This chapter makes a comparison between China-EU and US-EU trade relations with a focus on trade volume，trade weight，trade structure and trade balance，and analyzes the differences between China-EU and US-EU bilateral investment.The author suggest that we may have a better and more thorough understanding of China-EU trade relations with a transatlantic perspective.To enhance the China-EU trade relationship cannot rely only on increasing China’s export to the EU，the aim of which is not only for China to become the EU’s biggest trade partner，but to enhance the basis of China-EU trade relationship with a focus on further investment.
