With rising level of urbanization in China，the urban population is increasingly concentrated，bringing more and more traffic problems，and traffic congestion become the bottleneck factor of restricting urban development. The paper describes the current situation of trafficcongestion and analysis of the causes and then put forward the corresponding measures for traffic congestion. At last，it describes the future of urban transportation.
