It is an extremely perplexing year of the macro-economic situation in 2013，also the year of the in-depth implementation of Central Plains Economic Region Plan，and the year of construction accelerating promotion.Facing complex situation，the Central Plains Economic Region in Henan province as the main body makes the economy present a stable speed，good quality and moderate development momentum by stabilizing growth，adjusting structure，promoting reform，improving the people’s livelihood.But it also should be noted that the current macro-economic environment is still complex，the problem of lack of demand has not been fundamentally alleviated，structural contradictions are still prominent，and the foundation for economic stabilization and recovery is not yet solid.In 2014，the macro-environment remains perplexing.On the one hand，the Central Plains Economic Region is facing great opportunities of accelerating industrialization and urbanization and the increasing advantages.On the other hand，it is also facing enormous challenges of reduced growth potential，intertwined new and old issues，and superimposed internal and external contradictions.However，with the deepening of comprehensive reform，a series of groundwork，long term effect of the policy will gradually revealed，the competitive advantage of the Central Plains Economic Region will become more prominent，and the economic development is expected to maintain sustained，healthy and rapid.
