With the continuing downturn in the world economy, political and social conflicts intensified at both the national and regional levels and serious unrest, uprisings, and military conflicts erupted in the Middle East and North Africa. With the increase in global migration, management of international migration is becoming more complicated because of the emergence of mixed migration flows. The number of Muslim refugees is increasing rapidly. The catalytic effect of the refugee problem has had a significant impact on regional social stability and international politics. This article reflects upon the development of international migration issues and briefly analyzes the impact of international migration on international security and social stability.
