It has been a 20-year long official relation between China and Asean this year of 2011. During this two decades, great achievement has been made for the Sino-Asean bilateral relations. With improvement of the mutual trust, the bilateral trade, investment, tourism, etc. have been in remarkable growth between China and Asean. Eventually, China and Asean established FTA in 2010. The bilateral trade will be increasing from US$500 million in 1975 to US$500 billion in 2015 with more common interests in bilateral Economies, politics and security. However, Sino-Asean relations is also facing some challenges because of differences of regional structure, strategic consideration, high-speed development and power relations, as well as the international and regional changes. Such as, low mutual trust; Asean's worrisome on China's power in regional structure and position; different interpretation for the regional integration, etc.. The future Sino-Asean relations will in shape of friendship and cooperation in general, but the two sides should improve the mutual trust, development cooperation, industrial integration so as to keep the structure of bilateral relation in stability.
