At present, China's urbanization process is confronted by "speed type" to "quantity type" transformation, and the improvement of urbanization development quality (UDQ) is the top priority of the urbanization process. Therefore, it is necessary to correctly handle the "speed" and "quality" of the dialectical relationship between urbanization. We must take the quality of urbanization in the first place, and go for a healthy urbanization. Whilst guaranteeing the rapid improvement of urbanization in China, how to improve the urbanization development quality and to secure the consistent development of "quality" and "speed" of urbanization is a major scientific proposition urgent to be studied. <<
