Improving the quality of life of the population has been the policy objective of the Second Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region. The 15-year free education，the devoted protection of cultural heritage，and successful hosting of the East Asian and Lusofonia Games have enhanced Macao’s quality internally and establishing its image externally，thus creating essential conditions for a sustainable development of the Special Administrative Region.
