This article analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, challenges and pressure of the Inner Mongolia oriented regional economic cooperation with Mongolia using the SWOT analysis method. This cooperation is included in the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Framework. Through the analysis, we conclude that this cooperation strategy is the SO strategy that can play internal superiority and take advantage of external opportunities. Inner Mongolia should give full play to the advantage of the power in the regional economic cooperation between China and Mongolia. What's more, Inner Mongolia also can make use of the continuously improve ability to cooperate and transformed the ability into the advantage and power, so as to form the basic framework of regional economic integration between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia rapidly and raise the status and function of the regional economic cooperation between China and Mongolia within the CAREC frame. <<
