China-Africa relations have continued to grow on the basis of traditional friendship since 2000. As an important part of China-Africa relations, China-Africa political relations have made remarkable progress and played a leading role in advancing China-Africa relations and consolidating its strategic foundation. The second decade of the new century is crucial to the development of China-Africa relations. China will work together with African countries to strengthen China-Africa traditional friendship, enhance coordination and cooperation on major global and regional issues, promote economic cooperation, intensify people-to-people exchanges, advance FOCAC institutional building, in order to bring the new type of strategic partnership between China and Africa to a higher level. <<
