Service economy has advanced productivity character，and is becoming a leading economy in the 21st century. Facing world financial crisis，the Chinese government has put into place a series of measures to counter the impact and influence the crisis has on the Chinese economy. This has also provided a good opportunity for the development of China’s service sector. The mode of economic growth has changed and created opportunities. Industrial structure has been adjusted. However the adjustment is implemented without massive lay-offs. At the same time，efforts are made to boost people’s consumption and move up the ladder of their consumption. The change is killing many birds with one stone. We propose to speed up China’s efforts to develop service sector and work out a strategic plan accordingly. Meanwhile，matching rules，regulations and preferential policies should be put in place too. We should also train people and improve the use of training tickets. Big efforts should be made to develop community service sector，expand residents’ home service consumption and help raise the quality of family life.
