After analyzing the circumstances and characteristics of Huadu’s cultural legacy，a summary has been made about the main effects achieved since people have protected and utilized the cultural legacy in recent years；and some existing problems have been pointed out that the current situation of cultural relic is not good，the protective action to cultural relic is unsatisfactory and lack of sound protective mechanism，the folk’s consciousness to protect the cultural relic become indifferent；also，countermeasures and suggestions have been made accordingly：to perfect a sound protective mechanism has been proposed，the outlay channel has been widened，the folk’s consciousness to protect the cultural relic is needed to be raised，the relationship between protection and utilization on cultural legacy should be well managed，a new step shall be achieved as further promotions of protection and utilization is being contributed to cultural legacy.
