Three major objectives, i.e., security, political interest and energy, have been serving the US policy towards Central Asia with the corresponding activities in this region. The order of priority of the three objectives is determined by different regional security environment and different strategic consideration in different time. As prearrangement, the US withdrawal is the key step for US strategy focus to transfer to the Asia-Pacific region.
