The survey aims to learn city women’s health status，behavior，understanding of health，and needs for health care service. The survey combines questionnaires and health check-ups. It collects 1318 valid samples in 8 big and mid-sized cities. The survey finds out that women seriously lack knowledge on health and seldom take actions to promote health. Their health status does not allow optimism. The demand for health knowledge and care services is huge and current situation can hardly meet this demand.
