There is a great achievement associated with rich experiences in terms of building the rule of law in China. During the last 60 years，China departed from the ‘rule of man’，via ‘rule by law’ and is approaching the ‘rule of law’. In the meantime，China regards the principle of ‘ruling the country in accordance with law’ as the fundamental strategy；formulates the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics；promotes the historic reforms on administrative legitimacy，administration in accordance with law and juridical system；promulgates the ideology of ‘rule of law’ and legal education；fuels legal researches and overhauls legal service. In the future，China will carry on its development towards building the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics；fully implement the rule of law as the fundamental strategy and accelerates the process of forming rule of law state.
