Northern Africa is the most powerful economic sub-region on African continent. After years of development，Northern African countries have become China’s important partners in trade，investment and infrastructure construction. But，they are also facing challenges such as trade imbalance，friction，and rising investment risk. The prospect of deepening their cooperation relies largely on the industrial orientation of the economic development strategies of the Northern African countries and China’s effort to solve the existing problems in economic and trade cooperation. This paper illustrates the market characteristics，industrial development trends and international capital flow of Northern Africa. It is based on comprehensive analyses that the author puts forward the significance，principle and roadmap of China’s investment cooperation with Northern African countries and makes several policy prescriptions to enhance China’s cooperation with Northern Africa.
