China-Africa agricultural cooperation has entered a new era of development after 2000. Against the backdrop of the strong desire of African countries for agricultural development，the high and volatile international food price，the strong momentum of industrial chain expansion of developed countries and the increasingly serious constrains of environment and resources in China，it becomes a more urgent and necessary task to deepen and advance China-Africa agricultural cooperation in an all round way. Currently，taking the strategic opportunity of the favorable international environment and the abundance of capital and technologies in China，we should constantly increase support for agricultural investment，development and aid cooperation in Africa，push forward agricultural cooperation in a steady，regional-specific and prioritized manner，in order to realize strategic objectives，including upgrading food security in China and Africa，enhancing agricultural competitiveness of both sides，ensuring the supply of scarce cash crops from Africa and optimizing China’s political and diplomatic environment and the environment for Chinese enterprises to make investment in Africa.
