The situation in Sub-Saharan Africa is now in a period of important changes，featuring overall stability with turbulence in some areas. The turbulence erupted in 2012 has profound causes and some new characteristics，but it hasn’t undermined the general peace and stability of the continent. Looking forward to the year of 2013，the overall feature of African situation will remain. African countries and RECs are making more efforts to maintain its stability and development. The international community should also contribute more to that goal.
