The phenomenon of college students working as village officials appears as a kind of new employment system in recent years in China. Many areas of the country have issued a series of measures，encouraging more college students to join in the construction of the new socialist countryside.

This paper aims to give a preliminary analysis of the background，presents situation and future of this system，and elaborates its possible enlightenment. We believe that college students working as a village official is only a beginning，thus it may have a new era for a revolutionary change in the employment of college students，postgraduates，and their future will be closely linked to the real economy，that is，they can find their own role in practice. A large number of chance exist in practice and may lead them to success. The problem is that we need a new mechanism and a reasonable system to ensure this new system and let the innovative person to exert their talents.
