In recent years, Henan has gained obvious achievement in the development of urbanization: urbanization level is continuously increased and cities keep expanding. However, there are still many conflicts and problems, of which low level urbanization becomes the key factor that limits the development of Henan Province socio-economic. Along with that the Central Economic Region is upgraded as a national strategy, Henan Province pays high attention to urbanization, and raises scientific harmonious development of the "three-nization"(new urbanization, new industrialization, and new agricultural modernization) led by new urbanization. Under this background, it needs to accelerate the development of clustering of center cities, better the urban layout and morphology, enhance the radiation capability of center cities, and at last, promote urbanization process and the development of scientific coordinated development of the "three-nization". <<
