Economic work has different positions in the CPC’s works in different historical periods. To commit to building and perfecting socialist economic system and to promote the development of China’s advanced productive forces has always been the main line of the Chinese Communist Party’s economic work . This chapter sorts out the developing path of the national economy which was planned by the CPC，summarizes the CPC’s experience in guiding and regulating national economy by plans，and puts forward some policy advice adapted to the main problems in making and applying plans.
