In 2007，we made great achievement in legislative development，judicial reform，administrative law，legal publicity and education，governance according to law，law research，etc..We stepped forward in the rule of law in commerce，market-oriented economy，society construction and controlling crime.Those ought to be attributed to upholding Deng Xiaoping’s socialism with Chinese characteristics theory and people-centered idea，deepening reform，opening up and innovation.In 2008，we shall comprehensively implement the spirit of the 17th Congress of CPC，fully implement the basic strategy of governing the country according to law，speed up the construction of socialist law country.It includes stressing the innovation of idea of rule of law，highlighting the overall reform of rule of law and promoting the coordinated development of rule of law.We shall once again witness the rapid and sound economic and social development，flourishing of the rule of law oriented by people’s livelihood.
