In 2007，Criminal compensation claims took on a downward trend，but the rate and confirmation of criminal compensation continued to increase substantially.Compensation cases were mainly physical custody，and compensation were decided by liable organs themselves.Main problems of criminal compensation system include：（1）the scope and standards of compensation can not fully adapt to the situation，（2）liable organs system is not reasonable，（3）compensation procedure is not perfect enough；（4）compensation funds can not be guaranteed.At present，criminal compensation system should be revised and improved through rationalizing the system，smoothing mechanism，removing obstacles，and making efforts to resolve the outstanding problems，to protect people receiving timely compensation，to expand the scope of compensation，and to raise compensation standards.
