2007 was a significant year in the course of rule of law in China.Rule of law in Hunan province has made the following achievements：（1）to pursue innovation，PPC of Hunan completed “Environmental Protection of the Century in Sanxiang”，formed a community intervention model represented with “Zero-Domestic Violence Community”，strengthened supervision on law enforcement and research，implemented local legislation，（2）the government institutionalized the people’s livelihood projects，further promoted openness and standardization in governmental affairs，（3）the People’s Court of Hunan strengthened internal supervision，continuously improved the control and supervision mechanism to ensure the correct exercise of jurisdiction，（4）the Hunan Provincial People’s Procuratorate put forward the model “criminal reconciliation for criminal cases”，which was the earliest in China.However，some provincial officials involved in corruption and serious safety accidents which worth thinking and reflecting.
