This paper begins with the elaboration of great significance of research institutions' agglomeration development, analyzes the current agglomeration status of research institutions in Guangzhou and the main problems existed. Thereafter, this paper raises the main thoughts on the research institutions' agglomeration development in Guangzhou, proposes "Three Projects" of focusing on building "Two Emerging Agglomeration Demonstration Areas", propelling "Ten R&D institutions Agglomeration Areas" and promoting "Seven Endogenous Development Agglomeration Areas". Finally, from the perspectives of the high level design of research institutions' agglomeration development, solving the land constraints of research institutions' spatial agglomeration, supporting research institutions strengthening and expanding business, establishing and improving R&D service system and nurturing high-end talent and technology markets, this paper proposes countermeasures with aim to improving research institutions' agglomeration development in Guangzhou. <<
