In today’s highly developed industrialized and rapidly developing economy，resource utilization and environmental protection in the economic development occupy an important position. Guanzhong-Tianshui economic zone has a great advantage in resouces，but due to the unscientific usage，resources shortage and environmental pollution have become major factors limiting its development. This paper puts a depth analysis in resource use and environmental protection of Guanzhong-Tianshui economic zone and in-depth exploration in the shortcomings in resource utilization and environmental protection. Then combined with the actual situation，we proposed some practical policy recommendations，hoping to play a positive effect on local resource use and environmental protection.
