解放思想是发展中国特色社会主义的一大法宝。本章主要依据党和国家的重要文献，同时吸收我国理论界的相关研究成果，阐发这些思想观念转变的主要内容，在此基础上，着眼于当前和今后，对需要继续解决的问题，做些初步探讨。
<<Emancipating the mind is a magic instrument for developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. Based on the important documents of CPC and the State and considering the related research findings of theoretical circle，this chapter expounds the main contents of the idea change since reform and opening-up. Focusing on present and future，this chapter also discusses the questions to be solved.
