The Beijing government has done a lot in the preservation of cultural relics and in the management of museums since 1949. However，in recent years，Beijing is launching an extensive urban reconstruction，and the city style is ignored，and the historical relic resources are not fully utilized. It is no denying that the preservation of cultural relics is important for sustainable developing of Beijing economy. In order to keep the style and features of ancient capital，the government should step up its efforts to protect historical and cultural relics，and the whole people in Beijing should do what they ought to do.
