Beijing city function has been re-positioned as national capital，cosmopolis，culturally well-known city and livable city，and Beijing government decides to develop cultural creative industry and to build the city to be the center of performances in China. So this paper examines theatre buildings in capital area closely，passes general judgment on current situation of theatre construction and points out some shortcomings. Some suggestions，such as the idea of theatre construction，the basic mentality，the developing mode and the focal point of the work，are given.
