The huge gap between urban and rural areas in Guizhou province,as a serious constraint to releasing of potential market demand,seriously affects the all-round construction of a well-off society,as well as threatens the harmony and stability in the society. The most important and arduous mission during the twelfth"five-year-plan"in Guizhou province is gradually narrow down the urban-rural development gap by ensuing advancing the process of agricultural modernization with further development of industrialization and urbanization in the same pace. Based on practical situation of Guizhou province,this paper studies the change of urban-rural gap as well as the influencing factors through the historical analysis and the positive analysis. At last,this paper makes proposals and suggestions to promote the development of industrialization,agricultural modernization and urbanization and the development of the city and countryside integration. <<
