As one of the second-tier cities in Guangdong Province，Foshan has a great potential for development. The economic development has creating favorable conditions for social work in Foshan. Since 2010，Social work has been developed relatively fast in Shunde and Nanhai District of Foshan. To further describe the path of social work development in Foshan，“Towns advance exploration，active participation of social resources，the districts and city follow-up to promote”，the report will primarily interpret the unique social work development experience of Foshan，and it is divided into three stages：Preliminary embryonic stage，the rapid development stage，steady progress stage.
