The promotion and development of community correction in China are companying with the elements of social work that gradually intervene into community correction deeply. There are two main social work intervening models：arranging social workers to job positions and purchasing social service projects. Basing on the models applied into Guangzhou and Shenzhen respectively，although the two models in nature are the same approach that government purchase social services from NGOs，there are distinguished features between two，such as philosophy idea，fieldwork place，daily service leadership and treatment environment. That sending social workers to job position has advantages to save cost of social services，establish big service network，integrate resources and reduce resistance from clients，as that purchasing projects is beneficial to set up a supportive working environment，guarantee autonomy of social workers and persist to professional treatments in community correction.
