Firstly，this paper carried on the profile of the connotation and characteristics of the new industrial revolution，and on the basis of that，we focus the analysis that the new industrial revolution brings challenges and opportunities to Guangzhou real economic. Finally，we put forward some suggestions on the strategy of Guangzhou’s response to the new situation from the aspects of government guidance，creating organization，education and training，promoting project and so on.
