Comparing with the other Western powers，France has maintained the closest traditional relations with Africa and is one of the most important development assistance donors and investors in Africa. Since the end of Cold War，the French governments have made adjustments on their Africa policies according to different situations. Since Mr.Hollande entered the Elysee Palace，France has been more actively developing its relations with Africa，having reinforced its interventions on major and hot issues in Africa and been more actively developing African markets. Meanwhile，France has strengthened its cooperation with the important countries in and outside Africa and cooperation with international organizations. Evolution of the French Africa policy has reflected the trends that France is remarkably attaching importance to Africa afresh and the French Africa policy is more and more characterized by realism. In the foreseeable future，France will continue to promote its relations with Africa progressively and pragmatically and it is less likely that the French Africa policy will have major adjustments or changes.
