Under the impact of the global economic crisis，ODA continued to decline in 2012. Specifically，ODA to Africa maintained almost at the same level with the previous year. Although the region maintains sustained economic growth，it is hard to meet the MDGs by 2015. There are still great challenges ahead，such as eradicating poverty，food security and undernutrition，climate change risks，not enough aid，the remaining risks of global growth，and so on. In future，the donor countries should not only fulfill their commitments to increase the ODA，but also mobilize more resources to finance the development. All the participants should pay more attention to ending the poverty once and for all，ensuring the aid getting “smart” and well-targeting the poor.
