Firstly，the article analyzes the current situation of the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta’s trade in services. On this basis，we use trade competitiveness index（TC index），revealed comparative advantage index（RCA index）and Lafay index analyze the International competitiveness of trade in services of the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. The results show that the International competitiveness of trade in services of the Pearl River Delta is stronger than the Yangtze River Delta’s. Both regions have competitive advantages in traditional services sectors，but both of them have the opposite results in modern services trade sectors. In response to these results，we propose some policy recommendations.
