This report analyzes the running status of Gansu province in the banking，insurance，securities industry since 2008，combined with the actual situation of the financial development of Gansu province. Then it evaluates the level of financial development in Gansu province in general. It has been found out that the financial system has been constantly improved and the scale of financial activities is expanding gradually. But the financial ecological environment needs to be improved as well as the overall level of security market and the insurance market development. This paper provides the target of financial development and basic ideas of financial development on how to support economic development.
