In regard of the effects of its political system reform，Russia has realized its political stability，but faced with challenges in terms of its economic development and foreign strategy as a whole. At present，the slowness of its economic growth is a hidden danger in its politicial stability，with the Ucranian crisis putting a restraint on its strategy for development. Russia’s relations with the SCO must be viewed in the perspective of the geopolitical economy of Europe and Asia.
