As a world-known Chinese megacity，Shanghai carries out different strateges in the past 30 years to manage transportation supply and demand，according to the substantial needs of different sustainable development stage. This paper first reviews and summarizes the feathers of the shanghai transportation；second，it demonstrates the experience and inspirition that Shanghai obtained in the field ofthe White Paper on transport，public transport，transport policy，urban functions，spatial interaction with traffic，transportation and other regional integration . Finally，It is prospected that Shanghai will transform and grow to be a globalgracityforf low-carbon green transportation.
