The construction of ecological civilization in the Changjiang Middle Reaches Urban Agglomeration determines the sustainable economic and social development of the central region. In recent years，guided by “two-oriented society” policy，the ecological civilization construction in urban agglomeration has made significant progress，as well as exhibits a lot of problems. We should strengthen propaganda and education，make a planning of water resources protection and ecological remediation，strictly implement the environmental control as well as improve the system of ecological civilization，to further promote the construction of ecological civilization.
