Guangzhou’s social security has achieved significant progress. This report analyses the current development of Guangzhou’s social security. It points out the challenge of aging society，social security system development and service management system construction. Guangzhou’s social security needs to reform and improve in the following fields，including consolidation at institutional level，segregation of duty，coordinated management and social service.
