This article is based on the data from the survey on internet use by rural minors in 2013. It analyzes the basic features of internet use by rural minors. The analysis reveals that the internet use by rural minors has been relatively well popularized；the main contents browsed online is for entertainment，and for learning as a supplement；the main reason for not going online is the parents’ restriction；parents are prudent about their children going online. Meanwhile，it has been discovered that family factor remains to be a distinguished influence on rural minors going online and irrational behavior exists among minors in their using internet. This article suggests countermeasures based on the analysis of basic features and problems in using internet by rural minors.
